Rebuilt Model 800H Radio Frequency Press with 20KW Edge Gluer

Machine Description:

A heavy duty Edge Gluer with a cure area of 48" x 102", equipped with a crowder infeed and a 20KW fabricated for the rapid cure of edge glued stock up to 4 1/2" in thickness. The package consists of an Edge Gluer [EG] design press with a chain driven crowder infeed. Edge clamping pressure is provided by hydraulic cylinders; top clamping pressure is provided by hydraulic cylinders acting upon the top platen.

1. The heavy welded steel frame is computer designed to minimize deflection and remain square under full working pressures over the full life of the press.
2. Clamping Area is 48" x 102" x 4 1/2" thick.
3. Edge pressure (102") applied by (16) pusher shoes activated by 3" x 4" stroke hydraulic cylinders.
4. Top pressure applied by (4) each 3" bore x 6" stroke hydraulic cylinders.
5. The 20KW internal solid state RF Generator can cure approximately 2000 sq in of glue line area per minute.
6. The generator features solid state rectification, state-of-the-art arc suppression and overload detection circuit designs, and an aluminum cabinet for maximum efficiency and performance.
7. Two-hand no-tie-down operator controls for closing top platen, with safety jaw photoeye for operator safety.
8. Controls include all required timers, meters, switches and push-buttons for full control of the press.
9. Top platen operation and generator doors are all interlocked, ensuring that the platen is closed and the generator doors are closed prior to RF activation.
10. Wired for 480 Volt 60 Cycle 3 Phase operation, 120VAC controls. Other voltages available please specify.
11. Circuit breaker protection is provided. A service disconnect is required for safety, but is not provided.
