Radio Frequency Press Specifications, Model RfsProtech D135 50 X 96-H 4-Way RF Door Press

- The heavy welded steel frame is computer designed to minimize deflection and remain square under full working pressures over the full life of the press.
- Curing Area is 50" x 96" x 3" thick.
- Clamping pressure is applied by hydraulic cylinders and pusher shoes. The press is capable of exerting 200 psi over the full length and width of a 3" thick panel, and is guaranteed to close any joint, to the point of crushing the stock.
- Edge pressure (96") applied by twelve (12) each 2" bore x 4" stroke hydraulic cylinders. Cylinders are supplied by a common manifold, and are fitted with a shut-off valve for ease of use. The operator can select only those cylinders required to close the joints by opening ball valves mounted on the pressure manifold.
- End pressure (50") applied by six (6) each 2" bore x 4" stroke hydraulic cylinders. Cylinders are supplied by a common manifold, and are fitted with a shut-off valve for ease of use. The operator can select only those cylinders required to close the joints by opening ball valves mounted on the pressure manifold.
- The hydraulic power unit is equipped with a tank and filtration of the hydraulic fluid. All the hydraulic controls [high/low and directional] are mounted on a common manifold, reducing maintenance.
- Top pressure applied by two (2) each 2-1/2" bore by 26" stroke hydraulic cylinders.
- Side and end pressure each feature separate controls which allow independent positioning, alignment and clamping of parts under low pressure for operator safety. Final clamping pressure will be applied automatically when the top platen is closed.
- Platen set at a 45° angle for easy access to the platen for placement, alignment and removal of stock. The top platen opens to a parallel position. Mounted pop-up cylinders lift up the top of the panel, creating space for the operator to grab the panel; position to be determined by customer.
- The 10KW internal solid state RfsProtech RF Generator can cure approximately 1,000 square inches of glue line area per minute.
- The generator features solid state rectification, state-of-the-art design, and an aluminum cabinet for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Two-hand no-tie-down operator controls for closing top platen, with safety jaw photoeye for operator safety.
- Controls are easy to understand, and feature a digital operator interface with messaging for operation and troubleshooting. Controls include all required timers, meters, switches and push-buttons for full control of the press.
- The generator features AutoTune circuitry for automatic adjustment of the RF generator to varying press loads.
- The intelligent operator interface includes cycle and dwell timers, as well as operational messaging.
- Top platen operation and generator doors are all interlocked, ensuring that the platen is closed and the generator doors are closed prior to RF activation.
- Control panel mounted on the left side of the press, unless otherwise specified.
- Wired for 480 Volt 60 Cycle 3 Phase operation. Other voltages available please specify.
- The press is painted with a two-part urethane paint for durability and cleanliness.
- Circuit breaker protection is provided. A service disconnect is required for safety, but is not provided.
